If you decide to finish up the process and become a Prosper® Card cardholder, we will post your newly approved credit card to your credit profile, which will lower your credit score slightly.

Yes, there is! We’ll review your account automatically to determine whether you qualify for a credit line increase. This is good news, since raising your credit limit can help lower your credit utilization, which ultimately may help to raise your credit score.

Submitting an application to see whether you qualify for a Prosper® Card won’t affect your credit score. So really, you’ve got nothing to lose. Even if you don’t qualify, you’ve still got options. The annual fee for this card is $39, which will be waived for your first year if you sign up for AutoPay before we issue your first statement.1 You can enroll in automatic payments during the application process, or at a later time if you prefer.

Once your application is approved, we’ll drop your Prosper® Card in the mail. In the meantime, you can register online or use your mobile phone to 1) download the My Prosper Card app in the App Storeor the Google Play Store, 2) tap ‘New User’ and sign in with your email address, and 3) add your card to your digital wallet.

In most cases, you’ll be able to access 50% of your credit line with your digital card. You’ll be able to access your full credit line once your card arrives in the mail (which typically takes between 7 to 10 business days).
