Baylor Scott & White Health has received national recognition as one of the Best Workplaces in Health Care by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Best Workplaces in Health Care rankings are based on feedback from nearly 88,000 employees at Great Place to Work–Certified™ organizations in health care, including the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.

The list includes health care organizations that rate highest for employee satisfaction and attract top industry talent. Baylor Scott & White also received a great workplace certification from Great Place to Work, which is awarded to companies that achieve an employee satisfaction score of 70 percent or higher. Eighty-two percent of Baylor Scott & White employees surveyed anonymously by the institute said the health system is a great place to work.

- Eighty-nine percent feel a sense of pride in what Baylor Scott & White accomplishes.
- Eighty-eight percent feel good about the ways Baylor Scott & White contributes to the community.
- Eighty-seven percent are proud to tell others they work at Baylor Scott & White.
- Eighty-six percent feel their work has special meaning and is not "just a job."
Baylor Scott & White supports employees through several company-wide initiatives, including wellness programs, career development opportunities, pay-for-performance incentive plans designed to reward those who help meet patient satisfaction goals, employee discount programs, and support programs for those facing unanticipated adversity. Published by Great Place to Work and Fortune, the Best Workplaces in Health Care rankings are based on feedback from more than 87,770 employees at Great Place to Work–Certified organizations in health care, including the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector. Employees completed an anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the building blocks of a great workplace. Employees rated leadership strength and integrity, pride in their work and organization, and the quality of relationships with co-workers, among other factors. Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95 percent confidence level and a margin of error of 5 percent or less.
